Sock Addict

The sock addict in me has gotten the best in me.  I completed 2 pairs of socks since I last blogged and casted on 4 more pairs!  On the horizon for April Sockdown, I have 2 pairs selected, AND I received the Rockin' Sock Club's March shipment.  So, here we go:

And then, I received this late last week: (this is so not my color but it sure is pretty!)

As of now, the 3 April socks and the Sock Club yarn are getting packed for Cozumel, but there are 2 April socks I need to cast on so I can "reserve" them for knitting in April (after I finish my March socks, right?).  I will let you know what my April socks are after I cast on.  I haven't made a final decision, but I wound yarn on Saturday:

Under The Sea Socks

OK - I didn't wait to finish any socks before I cast on Under The Sea  Socks (from the Loopy Ewe Sock Club).  But, I decided that the color was too close to Queen of Beads so I used another Casbah I have in my stash (Blue Lagoon).  It took exactly a week to get one sock done.  I modified the back leg pattern from the rib to the lace pattern and added a picot edge.  I also knitted a lace pattern repeat on the gusset and plain stockinette heel before starting the lace pattern on the back of the leg.

And now, I will show you many pictures because I'm so in love with this sock!

Are you sick of it?  Sorry!  I've started on the second sock, but my Waving Lace is not finished!  I am done with the Mystery Socks through Clue #3.  Need to start the second one as Clue #4 will be finishing the cuff.

Happy St. Patrick's Day... I will wear my Leafling Socks today!

Sock Club Week Part II

Continuing on Sock Club Week... Received Woolgirl shipment yesterday.  I have no outfits with this  color, but I love the yarn base.  Maybe it's going to Mexico with me.  I forgot to picture the pyramid box of chocolates!

Today, received shipment from The Loopy Ewe: - a little disappointed that the color is very close to the Rockin' Sock Club color, but luckily, I love blue so I'm going to cast on once I finish a pair of socks (well, maybe close to finishing a pair).

 

I finished this sock this week (Waving Lace Socks from Favorite Socks book).

Cast on SKA Mystery Sock: (Hazel Knits Artisan in Euphorbia).  This is only clue #1.  Have to wait until Sunday for clue #2.

Sock Club Week!

This is the peak Sock Club week!  Today, I received the Knit Purl Sock Club March Shipment (they are always so prompt).  I have yet to knit a single shipment, but I love them all!

I received notification that The Loopy Ewe package was shipped today, and The Woolgirl package was sent out on Monday...  I'm going to work from home on Friday and hopefully, I will be getting the packages by then!  Rockin' Sock Club package is not expected until later this month.

Oh, have I told you that I'm going to Mexico for Spring Break?  How many pairs of socks can I knit while I'm out there???

Tomorrow is Knit Night.  I'm destashing.  Will let the girls have the first dibs before I post them on Ravelry.  Is there anything here that you would like?
