We just got back from a mini vacation to the Upper Peninsular in Michigan and a day in Duluth, Minnesota. I finished a hat, 2 socks (not matching!!). I started on one of the mates, completed the leg of another pair, a scarf... so I was quite productive. But mostly, I was finishing up a digital scrapbook for my California trip from 2007!! Here are some updates on my knitting:
I finished this scarf for Eve. I will not know if she likes it until I see her next Tuesday.
I finished these socks on the trip:
But... I did not finish my goal of 20 pairs socks this year! Actually, I only finished 14 pairs! For next year, I know I can do better than 14 because I already have 16 that are almost done. So, I'm challenging myself to finish 25 pairs!! Which means, by 2010, I may be more willing to knit socks for others, yes?? Here are the completed pairs:
Here are the socks I can choose from finishing...
My birthday was on Monday (29th) - didn't get any fibers. Boohoo! (like I need any more!!)
I knit 13 pairs this year and like some crazy fool gave away 7, yes 7 pairs of socks and only kept 6. We won't be repeating that this year. ;0)

Of course she'll love the scarf. It's gorgeous! The socks are impressive too. I was planning to start the Leyburn socks with STR, but decided I'm not in the mood to knit socks right now. Both of yours are beautiful.
